I read ad from adsense, that was calling a reader looser, as for me i recalled rich jerk tactick and think that it can bring higher CTR, but then i thought as normal visitor and i loose all trust for whole ad block. Why i mention?? becouse it can decrease CTR. When people will read something like this, they can feel offended. Do you think i should do somthing about it, like writing to google about that. I know that this kind of marketing may be sucessfull at the beggining but at the end people will get pissed off becouse someone call them a looser. Please,write what you think.
im sure a while ago i had a campaign running in the US for a weight loss product and my ad read something like "You are FAT! etc etc etc" it brought a very high CTR, but i just assumed that cos most americans are fat lolol
no, i think that people that value themselfs would be offended and i don't want to offend anybody. And i don't want my site to be percived as offending i think i'll filter that ad
Dude, it's a piece of text, and its only aimed at people who acutally look at it and think to themselves. "You know what, i am a loser. And this product will stop me being a loser"
