First wrong move GOOGLE ADSENSE has made for the publishers

My CTR has been reasonable stable for me on my sites ... i had some change but that was just cause i changed some things around, if i hadnt done that i wouldnt have noticed anything too special on the CTR this month

 

Ok I understand now what you are saying but on my website it still shows 3 ad links in leaderboard.

 

Just increase your traffic from you back links you will see that your ctr will increase

 

I have notice it few day back with my large rectangle and 200*220 ad unit.. it was really annoying for me.

 

Yep, I've noticed the exact same thing. Those who didn't have any changes on CTR probably doesn't have 728x90 ads.

CTR dropped around one percent starting this month, hope Google would change back to the original method as well to increase their revenue too

 

I like the new ad format, looks less obtrusive.

Here's an idea. Try and redesign the site slightly to better accomodate the new ad layout. Use it to your advantage, instead of complaining about it.

 

My leaderboard hasn't changed at all. On some pages, there are 2 ads, and sometimes 3 or 4.

 

why does it matter how high or low my CTR is? Its not going to help you

 

I agree, Google is becoming more advertiser friendly, and as a result, hurt their relationship with high volume publishers

I use leaderboard and large rectangle ads and my CTR and earnings are up nicely this month...

 

Don't worry, if the experiment doesn't produce more income as a whole, Google won't stay with it.
If CTR goes down, they make less money.

 

My Adsense unit earn up this month from text ad or image ads....
