Will Adsense ban you?

Will Adsense ban you if you accidentally clicked on your own ads on your site/blog?

I'm just wondering because I accidentally today clicked on my ads.

What should I do to avoid banning my site?

Never click your own ads. If you are talking about clicking one or two ads a single time, then it's doubtful anything will happen. If you clicked on a bunch of ads, then it is a different story and there's nothing you can do but hope you don't get banned - because a ban is for a lifetime.

    A single accidental click?
There's 90% chances you won't get banned for that. But as mjewel said, "accidentally" clicking on loads of ads on different pages may get you banned forever from adsense.

I clicked on my own adsense quite few times and nothing happened so I doubt you will get banned for it. Keep us updated if you did though within the next month or two...

I understand "Never click on my own ads" It's against their TOS. but I obviously said "accidentally" did that. It was only a single click. and I quickly hit the back button

As long as it was not purposely, they will not ban you. Don't ever click on it again because they track IP address

I've read that if you click on your own ad you can simply e-mail google and explain them the situation and they will not take any action. They PROBABLY won't take any action, because in truth, this kind of stuff happens everyday all the time. The way google ads are made nowadays is that you may simply click them by accident because they are almost part of the text.

Don't be afraid, no action will probably be taken, but if you are really worried, just E-Mail google and they'll understand.

Ok. now it's been awhile and no action was taken as you mentioned. I think Google understood that I clicked it accidentally. Thank you for your share

No, if you clicked one time by mistake then they won't but if you continue to do so then surely YES.
