Hello forum, I have decided to create a website and publish on www. So to start with, I am going to design a website. I am thinking about using Adobe Dreamweaver.

Could you recommend me a good, easy-to-use and affordable web designing software?

Please do comment on your reccomendation.

    thanks in advance.

Adobe Dreamweaver is a professional design software, you can use it if you are thinking seriously about website design, but you will need to get some training, you can use some video tutorials at lynda.com

Also it cost quite a bit if you buy it as Adobe CS package. It might be better to order a website. Will be more beneficial for your business.

I have been using Sausage Software's Hotdog Pro and i like it very much. Also I tried PHP Designer Pro but it seems a bit complex. There are some free editors available around the internet and you can try them. May be they will serve your purpose.

Adobe Dreamerweaver, Photoshop or Fireworks is all you need if your willing to buy them.
Looking for open source free stuff, then Gimp and Notepad++ can be your best bet.

All the bests are already suggested..but i would like to add to the list..if you work on a linux platform then i suggest-Quanta+, its a very good WYSIWYG editor for web coding..for CSS there's a special one-CSSED, its very clean and easy to use..

try them..they are no less than any of their windows counterpart plus they are free..

I would grab a copy of Dreamweaver and Photoshop CS3-5. Quite expensive though, but it will surely pay off.
