I think my OP is pretty self-explanatory. I am looking for out-of-the-box link building techniques that aren't the everyday kinds used by most people (mentioned in OP). I am open to variations of the techniques I am referring to if they are white or gray hat and Google friendly. Maybe you should think before you speak. I have actually received several PMs where members have offered various techniques that aren't the typical ones that I mentioned in the OP.
