Where do you place the Google Adsense? Are you using Adsense revenue sharing sites? Which ones are you using? Right now I am using it on my blogs, plus Snipsly and Jevitt, both are adsense revenue bookmarking sites.
Adsense revenue sharing sites are generally useless. Back when this forum had adsense revenue sharing, don't remember having made more than a few pennies off it. Better to devote that time to creating or developing your own websites.
You won't make much money from joining these Adsense revenue sharing sites. Better create your own site.
I think it depends on your own site as well as the sites that you are posting on. As far as I understand it, jevitt is pretty new so it probably doesn't bring very much traffic. Sites like Snipsly have built up a good reputation so you're more likely to get traffic, making your more likely to get adsense clicks. You read in forums that people make $1,000 a month using sites like Snipsly with adsense revenue shares, so I think there's definitely a lot of potential out there for us all. I try to look at stuff like the 'featured users' and 'topics that earn' page to figure out how to fine-tune my writing to make more from adsense. There are a lot of different theories about where you should place your ads and what they should look like. On your blog it looks like you only have one block of adsense ads. I've heard that it's good to put a few throughout, incase readers get a bit farther and realize that they're looking for something else. Google has a cool image of "hotspots" for adsense placement depicting which area get the most clicks, and top of the page was deemed the most important by them. It's also been debated whether you should have ads that blend in with your color scheme or contrast it. I have experimented with a lot of different color combos, and I like using complimentary colors. I think it catches peoples' attention but doesnt stick out as an ad.
Out of curiosity, what makes you say that? I've heard mixed reviews as to whether it actually brings people money. I've gotten a fair amount of traffic on hubpages, but I've made more with Snipsly.
I also join some forums with adsense sharing site but has no luck on it. I never earned even a single dime in adsense sharing.
While flixya does have 100% revenue share, they don't have nearly the traffic that other rev sharing sites like Snipsly or Hubpages do. The more traffic you get, the more you will make, which will probably lead you to get more from sites other than flixya, even though they share less... if that makes sense.
I use Hubpages, Shetoldme.com, and Redgage. In my opinion, I think Hubpages and Redgage is the best because these websites have brought me revenue in the past month. I am slowly making money on Redgage, but I bookmark almost everyday, so I know that will increase. If you do want to make money with adsense revenue websites, you need to make a pattern or routine to get the most out of it from what I see.
I made adsense revenue sharing sites such as shetoldme.com but I don't use any myself because I am lazy and as such I am always looking for ways to earn money for the least amount of work on my part in the future. So I am ready to work full time for one week or more, as long as I know I am creating a system which will free me from work and will earn me money in the long term. So, yes, using only adsense revenue sharing sites is not the way to go to make money, you should invest time in creating your own web property, and then yes, use those platforms to create backlinks to your articles on your own web properties.
HubPages has worked reasonably well for me in the past. I wouldn't discount using them altogether, adsense revenue sites have their uses. Basically what you put in is what you get out. If you create a really large loyal following in one of the bigger sites you can make some decent amounts of money. the problem with using these sites is that more often than not the returns isn't that great. You do all the work, and Hubpages or squidoo takes a large chunk of your adsense earnings. By creating loads of lens or hubs you can make a small amount of adsense money using an adsense revenue sharing site. But if you are really serious about adsense, I suggest creating your own website and placing your own ads on it.
make your own site and optimize your site to get a lot more visitors,, it's better than adsense revenue sharing sites
