Link structure

Hello all,
What do you think about this -
Do link structure helps us to get good SERPs?
If yes - HOW?
For eg =
http://www.xyz.com/digital/forumdigital

http://www.xyz.com/Page.asp?page=106
Which one is much better and how?
Please answer with justified reasons,no silly answers.

 

Hey mate,
the former is a ton better than the latter. Couple of reasons for that, but mainly:
1. First example uses actual words instead of number, Google values this since it makes navigating the site easier (from the user's pov)
2. The first example also allows for keyword targeting. As you might or might not know, when you SEOing your forum website, keywords in urls are a big advantage over mere numbers.

if you follow do follow link structure then it's better than no follow because may be after no follow submission you have 100 back link but if you have only 1 follow link then you will have good boost for your keywords.

 

It would be better if you use http://www.xyz.com/forumdigital because it will have more trust than http://www.xyz.com/word/forumdigital and greatly more trust then http://www.xyz.com/word1/word2/forumdigital

 

If there is a keyword in there like in the first case it is better and helps boost your SEPR.
This also makes navigation easy which Google likes.

 

The first one is much better, but even better than that is if you use keyword or hyphenated keyword phrases in the URL.

 

Go for first link structure, because it helps you to get SERPs in google

For me, the domain with KW w/in the URL is much better than the other.

 

First one is more better than second one , because it uses actual words instead of Dynamic URL. First one helps crawler to judge about the page.
