Hi, I have a question, it would be great if someone can help me solving it. I wish to have site in .au, .nz, .ca and .uk with same content will I be penalized with duplicate content ? If so how come Bruceclay have same site and content for so many domains bruceclay.com.au, bruceclay.it, bruceclay.com and bruceclay.in All sites rank well in their region. Thanks for help in advance.
As per my knowledge the site will considered having duplicate content as those are all different domains.
They will be considered as duplicate regardless of their domain extension and country. However, the penalize is still a myth for me in this case. I am not sure if Google will display all of them arranged by important or display the one of them that has most authority.
The country specific tld tells Google what region you expect the site to show for. There is no duplicate penalty - what there is, is a duplicate filter - but you are alreday filtering with the geo-targeting, so it won't be a problem.
Maybe it is just masking or forwarding site. I wonder and still search for google secret. COntent is the king, but auto generated content can be shown in google search result now.. Why? Now one know except google team..
so same content with different geo target location will be good enough, will it rank in geo target location ?
