While checking the backlinks in backlinkwatch.com,i found my digitalpoint forum signature links shown as nofollow,is that true?
The sig file links are DO follow. The "Recent Blog" post link is NO follow, as is the "visit homepage" link from the drop-down menu when you click your user-name in a post.
Yes but please don't post just for the sake of posting to get to that 100. Please write meaningful posts, and not irrelevant posts. I see many posts on here which make me feel guilty/shameful as a Internet Marketer. Some People are in this for the money and have NO passion!
...I agree. Many web master forums have become quite pathetic with meaningless and ill-conceived posts just to get a link. If nothing else, posters should try being a bit more creative.
i dont even know that signature links are do follow after 100 blogs. I guess I enjoy myself too much to bother about dofollow or no follow.
all sig links here are DO follow, even the ones below 100 posts so no need to spam There are plenty of Add-ons for FireFox that will show easy when DO or No follow https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=nofollow&cat=all
Yeah! Definitely no need to SPAM - I guess I should have reworded it.... Post relevant and helpful content here and you will get to where you want to be in NO time..
As others have said, the links are dofollow. Still, it's not a good idea to spam just to get your link to show up more. The forum is very busy, and if you're interested in webmaster topics you should easily find stuff to make good quality posts about. People are more likely to click your link if your posts are good, anyway
I think DP sigs being dofollow are a great way to reward loyal members for contributing to the community. It would def not be good if they went to NOFOLLOW.
DP producing big business on Signature Links! I hope no one wont do any deals on No-Follow Links! when it get done
