PAN card compulsary for Indian paypal users?

hello,
recently paypal seems to have changed the policy, or rather RBI seems to have changed it, and now they need the PAN card added to the paypal account.
well I have a few queries...
-> I have applied for a PAN card. how much time does it usually take to get it?
-> and by the time, I have added my fathers PAN card, can i change it afterwards?

okay thats all, any kind of input would be great as well.

PAN Card will take around 8-10 days to reach your home.
I don't think you can change the PAN card and I have not seen that option anywhere in PayPal.

 

NO you cannot change the PAN card afterwards....and I do not think your Fathers PAN card will work with paypal on your name.....though I am not sure about it......

 

Why unnecessarily hurry to put your father's PAN when there is no need to do so! PAN number is not yet compulsory for Paypal and so you might as well wait... till your own PAN number gets allotted to you!

Remember PAN is still not made compulsary by paypal so you can wait for your PAN

 

okay then I did a BIGG mistake , hopefully contacting them will help.

 

If you have aleady submitted your father's PAN number and they have accepted it... do not bother to change or contact them! Do whatever is necessary only when it becomes mandatory!

yes keep using ur fathers PAN card .
they only check by last name.

so they wont bother u .

or if u reaaly wanna use ur own PAN

then delete this accnt wen u get ur own PAN and make a new PP.

 

PAN will reach ur door in 15 days... no u shdn't use ur papa's PAN... hey i dont want my PAN to be filled there...is there any other way that i can use the paypal without PAN..

PAN is not compulsory for paypal, you can also skip it by clicking at the PAYPAL LOGO.

 

but for new signups its a must

 

not just for new users, it didnt let me into my account, before I had added my fathers, and now all this trouble :S

 

wow i still not added pan card u just need to click on logo that wil take to th paypal account

 

lol, no point now I just need to contact them and give them my PAN number instead see if they are any help.

I am facing problem to attach my card with my 2nd account but paypal said this number is already exist in system. please advice me.

 

they need to fix this bug as we can't use single pan number on our 2 paypal accounts. anyway now persoanl paypal is useless for indians so its best to use premiere account

 

They are asking for it but no need to fill oput there your pan card number!
