    Haven't seen anyone mention issuing press releases. Press Releases can get you indexed pretty fast as well. Google free press release for sites you could offer your press release to. You could get hundreds of backlinks quickly this way.

    Hi all, can any body explain me, when does the Google updates the PR for any site, i have a site and its not yet got a PR since 2 months, does any body know the exact period of Google PR crawling

    my site thegioitructuyen.com also doesn't have PR update (still 0) more than three month although backlinks are more than 400.

    Yes....and some site gets PR updated very fast dont know what is the trick behind this, there might be some thing wrong we are doing or its just our site that are in a long awaiting Que... or may be google might be focusing some other stuff that we are not aware off

    Unique content doesn't matter, I have tested it with 5 brand new sites, all using the same content, all were indexed in 24 hours.

    Like others said, best way is to get some links from sites that get indexed quickly, like Ezine Articles and such.

    It could take some time if it is a new site. Maybe a couple of weeks or even more. Just make sure that you submit your site to google and also submit your sitemap in webmaster tools. Also check for any errors that may come up. Other than that you can submit your content to social bookmarking sites like Digg. Many people have got Google to index their site quickly by submitting to Digg. Good luck!
