Don't hire SEOs from Russia

I am hearing really bad stories about SEOs from Russia. A lot of them take your money and leave. It seems that Russian people are not serious at all and do not have good work ethics. As a funny note, check out this youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8luUotNZWI

 

That's a really broad and racist statement, breaux. You don't have any facts to back up your facts, either. Were you affected by a particular person who was not very good at SEO?

Disreputable folks come from everywhere, but you can't tell someone to avoid an entire country of people.

I think it works better if you simply work with folks who already have a great reputation. You may pay more, but you'll get more.

 

I just hear that there are a lot of scam artists in Russia. Recently, a DP member whose name I wouldn't reveal told me that a guy wrote him horrible articles that didn't even pass Ezinearticles. Also, SEOs in Russia have a bad reputation for buying links, automated directory submissions, and other "black hat" techniques.

There's a lot of scam artists everywhere. America, Africa, Asia...

To say "people from Russia have not work ethic" is very naughty. You should take responsibility for what you say and don't slanderize an entire country just because you heard from someone else they had a bad experience once with some guy.

Why do you keep posting different YouTube videos? I haven't watched them.

 

The videos show careless Russian "technology experts" are. You just gotta see for yourself. And Indian people culturally have a much work ethic.

No I am just talking about SEOs and techy people like the ones in the Youtube videos not the entire nation.

 

You have to be careful about what you say. In America, we do have a freedom of speech, and you do have a right to say what you wish, but people take offense to hearing others being called out in general, even if you did just mean "Russians who are involved in SEO". Are you saying every single Russian who is involved with SEO is just terrible? Are you saying every Indian person has a great work ethic? Every single one?

Look, if you're from India, and you sell SEO services, don't come in saying "these people are bad at SEO". It doesn't mean anything to me.

Tell us what you know about SEO. Tell us about your experiences with a particular Indian who did well for your company. Tell us about what you think of Google's new logo if you want.

But you're telling people to look at some random video about negative Russian SEO services? I dunno about the others, but that doesn't interest me. Tell me the good stuff. Tell me what does work. That I'll listen to.

 

Why not just stick to reputable SEO companies in the US?

 

The keyword is reputation. I don't care if I've got an SEO crew from Vogsphere, as long as there's a history and a good reputation to back it up. That comes from people who do know what they are doing and have the referrals from other reputable companies to back it up.

So a good point from there would be: Why should I hire any SEO service, and what makes one SEO company stand out to you?

 

The Youtube videos are funny but irrelevant. I had a somewhat bad experience with someone from Russia but I also had a bad one from someone from South Africa so I cannot generalize.

if you want good person, check their reputation.
A man with good reputation built his reputation steadily and slowly from somethings small..

Please don't generalize the things. How can you blame one country because of your bad experience with a single person? Instead of such a racist statement you should specify the company/person who has cheated you, it can be helpful to others.

Christ mate talk about a generalization.
You know I've been scammed by a couple of Indian "SEO experts" when I was first starting out.
Do you see me going around, talking about how spammy and scammy the Indian people are? No. Because it's utter bullshit.
You can't be making statements like these based on anecdotal evidence. No offense mate, but don't be jumping to conclusions please.
Remember this, a lot of the software you are using right now, promoting your sites or whatnot, has had some influence from those "scammy" Russian programmers you are talking about...
