That's hilarious that you say that because I've noticed the same thing all over DP! For example: I'll see a guy selling an ebook titled How To Make $400 a day with Adsense and then, I'll be searching around the forums and find that same member is asking questions, interested in buying other money making ebooks, asking "Does this involve CPA or something else" etc.

Just something interesting I've been noticing..

    Too true :D

One thing I've noticed is that Internet Marketing has really lowered the bar for people to list themselves as "Experts" ;)

Having a computer, an Internet connection and a poorly-formatted website doesn't make you an expert as far as I know :D

When I see people claiming to have some secret formula to make money online I always wonder why they would waste time selling it. Surely if there claims are true they would make more just following their own formula than they will by selling an ebook.

Even the most successful marketers will only show you dreams and not tell the real method. And if we go with percentage then I guess only 3% of people in world make any significant amount of money online, 97% of them fails.

Probably a lot are scams, or at best wishful thinking.
People set their sight too high, and when you have little experience it is easy to fall for the promise of thousands of dollars a day with no work.

When I started IM about 6 years ago I wanted it all, and I wanted it fast, but soon learned from my mistakes.
I then set myself a target of making $100 a day, every day - that's easily obtainable with a bit (Ok, a lot) of hard work, and when that was achieved I set about ramping it up to $500 a day.
I'm not going to try and sell you anything (yet) about how to do it, but the truth is that even if there was a 'magic bullet' on making $1million a day with 1 hours work most people would fail because they can't be bothered to spend that 1 hour a day doing something constructive.
With any business you need to research, research and research. You can't just put up a website and expect to succeed, nice though that would be.
It would be a bit like setting up a shop in the middle of the Sahara desert and relying on passing trade - hopeful doesn't cut it in the real world.
If anybody wants to know how to make $100 a day, I'll be happy to point them in the right direction next week - that's a promise, but it will cost you a few dollars

I'm going to sound naive here, but some people do honestly like to share their own success with others, especially if it makes them an extra income stream.
