I use thesis on all my sites. I was not asking about thesis. Take note of who I was responding to (with my tongue in check)

Although I use thesis i would not say that its an "SEO theme" The code for this theme is clean and that's just a basic requirement. Knowledge of common seo practices like internal link building, use of title tags, appropriate header tags <h1> will ultimately make the difference for your site's search engine performance. Of course, google looks at your posting frequency as well as number of back links to your site. So try not to worry too much about finding the "right seo theme" Simply get a theme from a trusted developer source.
Use whatever theme is good for your site and content and don't get hung up on this... Use the WP SEO and sitemap generator plugins. Far more important in SEO terms.
Well there are lots of free seo optimized themes, hybrid, neoclassical and copyblogger (both are from Chris Pearson). I use neoclassical, modified a bit, you can check in my blog, in the left signature.
I agree with you.. Studiopress themes can be easily be integrated with feedbuner email subscription service..
Many people are blindly promoting Thesis Wordpress theme. You know, you will get better search results if you have a number of backlinks and good content. Without this Thesis Wordpress theme is nothing. You can use any Wordpress theme that comes with valid code and proper H1, H2 tag implementation to get the same SEO benefits.
