    20th May is the International Draw Muhammad Day...My Simple question: Does the forum have a problem with members posting their drawings/cartoon?

    I don't understand why you'd want to incite hatred from the muslims.

    I think the world have enough trouble. There's no need to add another one.

    It's not a question of who gets annoyed by what.

    It's about freedom of expression and tolerance of other viewpoints.

    I honestly hope that DP isn't competing with South Park in pussiness quotient.

    i think that's not a great idea, every one has the freedom but not on the cost of other person feelings, i think these kind of activities should be banned on DP

    Accusing the Pope of protecting pedophiles may hurt the feelings of Catholics..does that mean we stop discussing that? If stuff is censored based on whether someone is offended then we could very well forget about having ANY freedom considering how easily some people are offended. Other religious figures are drawn, made fun of on a regular basis so why are Muslims given special treatment? Are we bowing down to their threats, violence, terrorism?

    I'm not pro or anti Muslim, but when you ask such a moronic question... not even sure how to respond.

    Ask yourself why do you REALLY want to draw Muhammad... Is it because you love him? Are you going to post your drawings around your home? Or do you just want to go out of your way to annoy/anger other human beings?

    Are you really worried about Muslim's suppressing your "freedom of speech"? Why don't we have a draw Helvetii's mom raping children for the "International draw Helvetii's family being a pedophile day". It's clearly a freedom of speech issue because it's something so many people are all very interested in doing. People participating surely would have no interest in doing it just to annoy/anger you, would they?

    If drawing Muhammad is somehow truly your life passion then why not just make your own website dedicated to it? If you are asking for preemptive permission for you to go out of your way to annoy/anger other human beings because you think it's funny, no.

    Why are you bowing to discrimination of any sort? Who cares what whoever says about the pope or muslims? Stay uninvolved, or contribute to this dirtpile we call society.

    How do you come to that theory?

    i am a Muslim, i dont hate any one, except the extremist, (including Muslims extremist, cuz they are not following what is said in the religion, making trouble for others,) but believe me they are very afew in numbers, and bcuz most of the muslims are poor and un educated they became the victim of foreign hands....and in the end get the bad name for all the community....
    there are millions of Muslims in US, UK and europe .... are they all involved in terrorist activites, are they bad humans, are they making troubles all the time ?

    I didn't mean it literally... and yes... every religion, race, etc. has the extremists that no one really cares for.

    Hell, I'd rather get blown up by a crazy Jihading Muslim than be lynched by the Ku Klux Klan (Christian extremists).

    Nothing in the rest of your post worth responding to, I appreciate the ignorance though. If drawing a person who killed people, preached killing people, was a pedophile, homophobic, woman abuser, stoned people, asked followers to murder jews and christians etc, offends people..then well, I couldn't care less. Imagine what your opinion would be if such a person existed today, didn't have 1.5 billion followers, some of whom hadn't DDOS'd your site.

    As it is one section of people is often given special treatment here, they can get threads deleted, form gangs, "report spam" all because of how violent they are. I wonder what happened to us had 15 of us campaigned to mass report something.

    Why you care so much about Muhammad? I don't give a shit about him, I never knew him, nor do I care to.

    If becoming the world's greatest cartoonist is something you truly desire to do, then do it... don't let a Muslim (or anyone else) tell you what to do, just do it. I've certainly never run into an instance where a Muslim (or Christian or anyone else) had the ability to dictate my actions. Then again, I've never felt the burning desire to do something just because someone else didn't want me to do it. So I should rephrase that... "I've certainly never run into an instance where a Muslim (or Christian or anyone else) had the ability to change my plan to do something."

    Lol... there are a lot of people in history that did bad things, and the worst things in history typically are done "in the name of God". I just have more productive things to do with my life that get angry over things that random dead people did (Hitler, the Crusades, etc.)

    Sorry to tell you, but no one gets special treatment here. If you think anyone has ever gotten a thread deleted because they threatened violence, you are very mistaken. 15 people can "campaign" for anything they want... doesn't mean we are going to do it because they want it (doesn't matter who it is). Anything that has ever been deleted here is because an admin or moderator made the decision to remove it. Same with banning/infracting members. You can have 15,000 people campaign us to do something and it's no different than if one person did... Not sure why you somehow think this site (which is privately owned) is somehow subject to democracy of any sort.

    If you have a blog would you let random people dictate what you wrote or deleted on your blog? I would suspect not. Same here.

    Anyway, your question was answered and this is not the Politics/Religion forum, so thread is being closed because 85 Muslims just threatened me to do so. {rolls eyes}
