Not true at all. I am the guy who someone mentioned had "lost" 4k in this. They were great talking to me on the phone and were interested in this thread and accepted and checked the URL. My money has also returned. I love yahoo (ypn and search) more than ever in the last month. They have been nothing but understanding and thorough and I look forward to being with them for years to come. Two thumbs up.
ironic, since your name is "allisgood" . Im using adsense, but I guess the earnings with yahoo are much higher then? hmmm ill have to check this out. It sounds as though yahoo are going through a bad patch, but there customer service is still far better than google. I suggest phoning them allisgood
Do you guys have that much money in your accounts over $10,000 at a month. Damn I must be doing something wrong here.
There isn't anything wrong with YPN, they had an issue and are correcting it. Far more than google would do. Treating people well like they continue to do will carry them a long ways.
Yahoo owns. 19 clicks = $40 where as 90 Google clicks for same site is $25. Audit for international clicks though so make usre most of your traffic is from US.
Well. It's been more than 24 hours since Yahoo Sarah posted that the issue would be resolved to the affected publishers within 24 HRs and my balance is still down 5%. What's the deal? Did the rest of you all get your balances back up to where they were 3 days ago before this happened?
So all they have to do is "feel" like say, half your clicks were invalid, and take half your money when they "feel" that way. PROOF. They should only do it with proof. The reality is they are only scared of lawsuits from the publishers not the advertisers, because we tend to be bunches of small entrepeneurs as opposed to a mega-conglomerate. So unless we put the fear back in them (by suing) they're bound to push the limits. You didn't get ANY explanation, etc. Whereas if you were a big conglomerate they'd of called you personally to explain it before it was ever done.
YahooSarah it's been more than 24HRS and my account has not been adjusted back up yet. Should I email Yahoo and tell the about the problem or are they still working on it and fixing it. Thanks.
Most of us were effected by more than 30%, 5% could be a legitimate adjustment. There is nothing to sue about. Yahoo is correcting things as they promised, be patient. When I was first told they would handle it I assumed I was being brushed off. I was incorrect, they are really looking into this and if you were wrongly affected then it will be fixed.
i believe its in the tos, you cant hold them liable. its beta, they can do whatever they want. there is very little you could sue about.
Even at that they could still audit you later on, thats whole point of waiting so many days to pay you. Monitor traffic and etc.. Just cause the computer has a number doesnt mean its exact until the check has a number lol.
