I got banned from Dreamhost for spamming and now they refuse to give me my domains

This should never happen, Dreamhost has a 1 click account backup which you can download to your own computer.
Who leaves their entire project online with no backup? There are all kinds of things that can go wrong besides getting shut down for spam.

Dreamhost has been pretty good to me with about 99% uptime.
Ive been with them for three years with dozens of sites running off of one shared hosting account.

Meanwhile a few months before i installed Rapidleech for my own use to download files from rapidshare unfortunately it did not worked on that time
After few days later some guys used my rapidleech in dreamhost server to download files from rapidshare which i forgot delete the installation
Dreamhost mailed ,e saying that they deleted the Rapidleech installation my server and no other issues till now
Their support is awesome till date

Yes Dreamhost are well known for deleting peoples hosting accounts and holding their files or domains hostage.

Although I don't like spamming it is unfair for them to delete accounts because they presume the account holder is doing it. Often they get hacked and the sites are used without the owner knowing.

Also Dreamhost have their own software and that is one reason why it often is the target of hackers.

I have read of many horror stories of people losing years of work as some Dreamhost employee decides to delete the persons account and not give them their files or backup of sites to them but people still use them so I guess this is what happens when you don't research the hosting company first.

This probably explains it all. I don't think that if this OP is a spammer he will come to this site and ask us for some ideas. This is a lesson to all of us: AVOID DREAMHOST AT ALL COST! I believe that if a client is breaking any part of the TOS, then the client has to be forewarned first and only a repeated negligence should be the basis of taking an account.
