15 clicks and 054$ only :S Help me please

Hey guys,
I had 15 clicks on my website and I earned only 0.54$ .. . I am focusing cricket :S please help me out and suggest some keywords

 

I guess your cricket focus is not paying you that well. Change the niche or just target on getting more clicks by increasing traffic.

 

With such a low ratio I would be inclined to suggest that some of your clicks have been discounted?

 

Sorry to said that Cricket is low pay niche, 15 clicks give you $0.54 is already better than average

 

No, Clicks are counted, but I am paid less, Sometimes 0.01 $ and sometimes 0.2 etc. :S

 

You mean its still good ?

this is too low for cricket niche..
For a cricket site, it should not be less than $1

 

You can't expect to earn much AdSense cash if your niche is cricket. Don't be surprised if you only get $0.54 for 15 clicks. It is an incredibly low amount and it won't change much if you optimized your site in order to increase CTRs and CPCs.

To really earn some money with Google AdSense you need to change your AdSense niche.

Change your niche to top keywords. thats the problem u facing.

 

Check out some more higher paying keywords, then re-optimize your pages for those keywords, then you've got a better chance of displaying a higher paying advert, therefore earning more money, remember to check to see if any advertisers are already using the keywords you've picked, no good having high-paying keywords, if nobody wants to pay for them!

 

When google's ad bot crawls a site it looks for "keywords" so it will know what ads are relevant to your site. If there is little or no competition on the words/phrases the person that made the ad isn't gonna have to pay as much. Therefore you don't make as much. It's kinda like supply and demand.

 

Like everyone else is saying, it depends on the keyword you are targeting.

Currently "cricket" has a CPC of $0.85, you should get 25% of that which is $0.20 CPC

Seeing that you are getting avg $0.03 per click, you site isn't targeted enough for the keyword "cricket"

My suggestion, write a couple more post on:

"cricket magazine" 2.14 CPC --> $0.50 +/-5 CPC
"cricket live tv" 2.17 CPC --> $0.50 +/-5 CPC
"cricket magazine for children" $1.62 CPC --> $0.40 +/-5 CPC
"bbc sport cricket" $1.57 --> $0.39 +/-5 CPC
"cricket test match" $1.37 --> $0.34 +/-5 CPC

Well, just think about it. If someone is placing these ads they have to be selling something thats in demand and profitable. The more profitable it is the more they are gonna be willing to pay for advertising. You can also use the adword tool from google to help with this. although adsense paid you with poor mode on the cricket clicks but there are some other keywords that are highly paid as hosting, appliances, forex, loan, banking etc.

 

You should check your content it might have very low paying keywords so get nice articles and content for your site
