I remember earning my first cash, from a "service" to a "friend" for about 0.3$. It was installing something on his pc. hehe good old times (around :/ 12 years ago?). What were your first business(es)? How did you make your first cash, and when? (I'm not talking about helping our parents and then getting a boost to our allowance, I'm talking about money made on your own, no help).
My web hosting business when i was 13... i think it made around $100 a month then i sold it for $700 to some guy.
Well i can't tell you what i did to get money on the internet. But i achieved about $500 roughly when i was 15. I gave $200 to my parents and spent $300.
hmmm i made a few bucks every week selling newspapers and shining shoes, that was when i was still 12 yrs of age. Good old days, never really worried about how to get cash and where to spend it.
i sold warez CDs for fun on my bulletin board service when i was 15. The days before internet.. and was able to make a hundred on a good day.
I don't remember how much i earned the first time. But I do remember earning a fried chicken wing for fixing a friend's computer. I guess that's priceless
When I was 7 or 8 I held a magic show in my garage and charged my friends and family 5p each to get in and 1p each for a drink of water (which I was forced to give back).
My first "real" job was at the age of 12 when I delivered advertisement to everyone in my area. Three hours of hard work (I thought) and it only gave me about $6.50. I was very angry and only did it for that one time.
On adsense, my first click was $0.10. But, if you mean real money, i sold teenout.com on sedo for £300. Rob
Pitchforking truckloads of pea vines cut in the fields into a machine that extracted the peas. We were expected to do about one truck load an hour Got $0.95 per hour though in 1962
I used to run some illegal download widget movie site (not porn), like titan ae and what-not.. Made like 200$ in a week then got my advertising closed down on me I also made 20$ on those programs that used to pay you to surf the internet... Those were the good ol' days.
First cash i ever made was ... I bought a website from someone and domain was very good. I bought it for $90 and after 3 days i got email from someone who was willing to buy the website. I asked him for his price range and he said $500 i was like but i sent him email that i wont sell it for less then $2500 because thats how much i bought it for . He agreed and sent me money order, (I would have sold him for $500 too). So i made $2400 for nothing and that was the first sale i did and that introduced me to webmaster world. Within next 3 months i made $11000 from buying and selling websites and other stuff online and when i told my dad that i have $11000 in my bank he was amazed and he started his own investigation to make sure i didnt sell something illegal or drugs I was 17 at that time and its like 7 years ago now. I will never forget my first sale as thats what introduced me to webmastering and i dont know what i would be without online business...
wow, that's quite some money! Well, my first online money was a 100$ cash, which I got for making a simple scipt for managing timelines. It was fun, and I was really excited, it was probably a year ago or something. Well, I had to buy a drink to everyone of my friends, and at last, i didn't have a penny.
i made my first money on the internet selling stuff on ebay. im still a noob with the whole internet site/marketing stuff.
Oh i thought he meant just internet money. I've made countless dollars selling candy when i went to high school. Even the teachers bought from me, cuz i charged half of what the machines cost.
The first cash payment I got was when I was 18, it was from a company called Telinco (which is now Tiscali), basically I was one of the first to offer a telecoms reselling business that paid customers revenue on their incoming calls. My first cheque was around £100. There channel sales manager came and visited me in my house (which at the time was a one bedroom flat!. He was a bit shocked that I was just some kid in a bedroom, I even said that my stereo was a "web server" to make things look better! Those were the days
