Develop some site on the domains and sell it later. I think that will be a good idea. I also took a 3-letter alphanumeric .org domain name and I am blogging on it, already PR2 on it

I dont like it really. Instead of trying to build a brand around a domain name, build a domain name around a brand.

 

Isn't it illegal? building domain names around brands?

Sorry I meant your own brand, not someone elses. I think it is borderline illegal to build a site around brand names, such as www.bestniketrainers.com but depends on a lot of things.

 

I have no idea what you could do with that. You will have to be creative. But just like freshdevelopment said, you would make it hard on yourself by trying to build a site around that domain name because it would be like walking around and around without knowing a target, goal or clear destination. Similar to building a website on weak foundation.

On the otherhand, it would be bad if you got rid of it - then 6 months later a popular movie comes out called, "PVT24". LOL

 

ok so im going with the classifieds, will spend some money on marketing and take it from there.

 

I suggest to send your money on a good domain name instead hitting your self with a hammer on that ugly ass domain name.

 

pvt24 sounds like a security firm..seriously i think you are putting too much emphasis on the domain..if you made a few pages about internet virus protection software..or something similar..sign up for as an affiliate for some of these products, slap some banners on and then promote the site..then you might make your money back +
the content and the keywords in your content also count in thr SERPS..there are many many sites which rank well for targeted keywords and they dont have the keyword in the domain..

so seriously 1. choose a subject.. 2. build site 3. slap on aff. banners.. 4. get links and promote the site 5. get traffic 6. get some clicks and maybe conversions..
