How original content should be?

Well, this question may sound like non sense at first, but if you rewrite articles, when is enough. At Copyscape, my articles show like 10 or 15% are not original and are matching other articles. Is that good enough that search engines found them original and to move up in SERP?

Its best if u wanna post new topic.. Just read the topic from many websites and understand the meaning of it.. Now just write the things in your own words.. Thats what all calls like ORGINAL CONTENT

Rewrite your articles by reading another, putting it aside and writing the new article from scratch WITHOUT looking at the old article. It will be 100% unique. If you're using spinners or looking at another article while writing the new article, it will never be unique.

i think it will be okey to get to a 25 % or so
i'm not sure but i don't think google will take the responsibility for taking sites downs for a lower percentage

What I usually do is take the first few lines of the article and do a google search in quotes (" "). Do this with several different lines of the article. The search results will tell you how many times the article was used and how much you need to change to make it unique

If you want some google love, all of your content must be original. If you want visitors to stick, it should not only be original, it should be a great read too.

I personally shoot for 100% unique. Why wouldn't you want to provide a higher level of quality than the competition? How are you going to do that if you're just stealing their material and rewriting part of it?

    how original: UNIQUE! 100%

when you re write articles you need to add the "new stuff" to make it original. if you are going to write the same thing on different words... it is just not going to work. Google algoriths track the IP of you blog and if you are writing the same stuff again. in the long run they are going to see it.

Yes unique = 100%. But if you rewrite the introductions and conclusions, you'd be good to go too.

Or pay someone else 4 bucks an article to write it for you. It's been working for me. I find someone with no experience in SEO and teach them to do it my way. Pain in the butt at first but eventually I have a writer that writes exactly how I need him or her to do.

15% is good enough for duplications... as long as you sure that the firdt paragraph is totally unique, because the first paragraph is the most important for search engine I think (after post title of course)

I suggest creating fresh articles rather than re-write would be beneficial.

If you are rewriting your content, the best strategy I can propose is to read it once, wait 15 minutes and write it directly off the top of your head. Yes, you're going to be writing everything new again but you'll have the general idea down and be able to quickly get content out which is unique.
