Hello marketers! In this time of economic recession, did you find yourself with decline of sales and income? Did you have to change your strategies of marketing to adapt to situation ? What would you recommend to beginners in this business regarding this situation? With Best Regards, Rock
Times are hard for most.....Although I would suggest affiliate products as a good learning curve for beginners, it makes sense to try and make a few bucks off the backs of the big boys. Therefore, you can mix it up and do some niche affiliate websites, but do some adsense as well. Adsense may only be a few bucks here and there, but replicate/multiply this formula many times and those small bucks start to become big bucks (especially if you start driving some decent traffic). If anybody is making money in the current economic climate, you can be sure that it is the likes of Google. Therefore, earning off Adsense will not depend on whether or not Joe Bloggs can afford to buy your affiliate product this week because he has been made redundant.
We have our hands in more than one online business and we have seen some double in the recent year with others going flat. I recommend this. Don't spend boat loads of your cash, learn and try, build it your self. When you have and idea try it. Enjoy yourself. You will find your way in this industry or not.
Thanks for your advice man. Is there any strategy you recommend to drive some decent traffic to your site?
I have been doing offline marketing of online services recently, and if anything I've seen business increase. The adsense model mentioned above is also sound, just be sure to not concentrate your effort on only one or two sites; this is a numbers game and you need to put up lots of sites to receive the kind of aggregate income that would make it worth your while.
Well i see my health sites rise up again from the dark ashes of last year. Every week more conversions so thats a good sign
Because Internet Marketing is more necessary than ever in a down economy. You can't sell anything if you can't be found. Also IM has long term and short term potential returns.
