A lot lower ctr because relevant ads are very very poor. Also PPC is almost equal to AdSense now on all my sites. Not much difference in either program now. I guess it's good though, makes jumping ship not a problem, since AdSense and YPN seem to pay the same for my sites.
Not for me. YPN is still paying 3x the RPC of Adsense. And CTR is similar. So I still give YPN the prime real estate on my sites.
It appears that ypn is having loads of trouble dealing with geotargetting issues. I don't know how they are going to settle all their issues and eventually launch it internationally. I guess it's going to take a long time, and while they're struggling at it, Google is making all those billions of dollars each quarter.
For me Adsense S*cks... they paid me 10 cents for 3 clicks.. thats so frustrating i use to get $1 for 3 clicks and nowadays it pays very less
Some days YPN pays more still than Adsense. It is just kind of a downer that YPN does not pay sometimes what they used to.
I don't how someone in his real mind can even compare Adsense to YPN. Yahoo is much better. There is really no comparison.
Google uses to be the first in everything but when yahoo comes to the new business it uses to be more pro. I don't think the ad business differs to the others.
For all but two of my many small sites, this is true -- AS is now paying MUCh better than YPN. I have left it on two sites, because although CTR sucks due to terrible ad inventory and poorly related ads, when someone DOES click I am seeing 2-8 bucks per. But, on my other sites I have left some YPN ads in strategic places and it proves AS is paying about bouble in most cases...plus they just plain get a btter CTR due to spot-on ads.
It depends. If you get more targeting ads in YPN, You get more than double or triple the Adsense revenue. But overall, YPN rocks.
