well thats a common question but the secret lies in using both to your benefit . try switching products and try to make the landing page more attractive . many bloggers who earn big money use both adsense and affiliate programs. it should be ADSENSE + AFFILIATE not ADSENSE vs AFFILIATE
I always go for Adsense..!Affiliates too would do good. But they wont simply earn by visitors, but will Have some activities from them more than in the case of adsense. Kettota Patti
Dont go for Adsense + Affiliate..! Coz.. We cant have our visitors to focus on one...! Either go with one and it would rip you some huge money. If we use adsense, people would click on it and and bounce out.. so no Affiliates would be there.. and the stuff happens vice versa too..! Either go for one
I think you need to test what works best for you. Some do better with Adsense and some with Affiliates, and some a combination. It depends on your site, traffic, content, location etc.
It is depends on your niche, your audience and your visitors geolocation. If your website / blog has a content related to shopping stuff, especially a woman stuff like ring, jewelry or others. You may try out affiliate product since most of this visitors are looking to buy something not just information digging. If your website / blog has a content related to technical or news stuff. I would recommend you go stick with PPC. Most of visitors are come with information finding oriented in their minds and not have much buying motive. They will come and read and clicking to find the info and so on.
I agree concentrate on one on a site. If your visitors click on ads you make money, but if they just click on an attractive affiliate ad and dont buy the product, you lose one adsense click too.
