If the people who can, do not do so for the sake of the children, i really doubt that they would do it for a few million candles.

    The intention is noble however.

Perhaps after the event is finished, the above website could be used for informational purposes, for instance to inform children/teenagers of security precautions to take while on the internet, and safe-surfing for business etc.

It is usually through insecure websites that hackers deface that people end up with spam sites, such as "medication", or illegal pornography pages.

It may also be worthwhile to make sure that the governments involved stop actually spreading such pornography themselves in order to catch people. In my opinion, those images of children who have been abused should be destroyed, not sent out by some agency to hopefully get some response.

They dare not do it with real children, but seem more than happy to use their image/memory of the event.. which just leaves a distasteful feeling im my gut.

I wish you all the best with your campaign.

if the government doesn't already seem to care about children being molested, what makes you think a lot of candles will?

They already know almost everyone is against it.

"oh no all these people bought a candle, we better do something about child pedophilia"...

i'd much rather track down these nasty people and kick their asses.
