Hi DP members, I am India based newly joined Paypal user. I have not any Credit Card with me for verification. I have bank account with State Bank of India. If possible to verify Paypal Account through my Debit Card. If any one tell how to solve this issue is very helpful for me. Thanks in advance.

There is no need for him now to go through this cumbersome and long process... especially since he can very well complete the verification process by just attaching his own bank account (SBI account in his case)! :)

TO OP.... Just attach your bank account in your paypal account and initiate the verification process. You will receive two small deposits from paypal in your bank account. Enter these amounts in the verification window in your Paypal... and you would get verified easily! :)

You can verify your paypal account with an Indian Bank account. Go to profile - add bank and enter the details including the swift code of the bank. Paypal will add two small amount to your bank account and it will be credited to your account within 4-6 working days. Enter this amounts in the verification page. The sad thing is that you cannot add fund to Paypal account from Indian Banks. Only Credit card is permitted.

Adding Indian Bank account is easiest way of verification now though some companies still need a valid card added in paypal to pay to them

You need a card attached... only when sites want you to enroll for a subscription service. Credit card gives a permanent and always handy second source of funding for recurring payments... when there is no balance in your Paypal account! :)

well even i was looking for the same, there is no option to enter the amounts. Earlier there was a option, but i didnt enter, due to some workload, And now, yesterday i was thinking to enter, but there is no page,
the only way available is to verify using Debit or credit card.
