A few weeks ago my family and I got Chinese food for dinner, and one of our fortune cookies said "Learn Chinese: "Bing" "Disease" http://www.digitaljournal.com/img/1/7/0/5/i/5/1/9/o/bing.jpg (That wasn't my picture, but it is close enough )
Lol, I thought you were talking about the search engine. If "bing" is chinese for falling ill, then the chinese must lol everytime they use Bing.com
I once read somewhere that bing stands for 'bing is not google' thus making it a recursive acronym or whatever it's called quite interesting to read tho ^^ I'd love to be chinese for one day just to be able to lol over that domain =)
HI, it true, in Chinese,' bing ' is falling ill, but I was never thought of this when I use Bing.com. I don't know the reason.
yeh i know the meanings of word "bing"=Bing is a Unix program which is essentially a ping with added network throughput measurements.
i try Bing once every few days to see if it has got better since my previous try. But though it has improved much since Live Search, the results are not as close as Google's. Somehow Google always know exactly what I am after.

got one definition after googling: Bing is a Chinese term used to describe wheat flour based Chinese foods with a flattened or disk-like shape.
I found this meaning from dictionary.infoplease.com- Pronunciation: (bing), [key] —v.i. Obs. to go. I think this ones more suitable rather than "Disease".
