Contest New Logo Design Contest $40 via Paypal

hi guys, we are launching this contest for a new logo and brand design for a company that specialises in Performance and Prestige car sales,

The name of the company is Topspec Corporation.
You can include "Topspec Corp" or "Topspec Luxury Cars " or "Top Spec Automotive Sourcing"or none and just have a logo, but it has to look nice, clean and professional and should represent what we are trying to say which is
" we supply performance and prestige cars globally"

our main business is supplying and importing "top spec" cars globally.

The logo should be designed in vector format <Illustrator> or what have you.
I'll definitely need revisions for this logo to get it to where I like it.

The logo has to be 100% original. You must provide all files used including fonts and illustrator file.

If I choose your logo, I'll pay $40 via PayPal.

100% copyright to me, I reserve the right to not choose a design if i do not like any.
if i like your design in addition to getting paid i have 3 more projects including web design which i will pass your way

Do you want a brandable logo, classic/elegant or sporty/eye-catchy? Illustrator for me is ok, as I work just with it

we would like something that can be branded, but is not necessary.
we would like to portray a professional image,
we mainly deal with the following cars
bentley, Aston Martin, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari, etc...

MmmDesign - I am liking the shield - and the TSC looks good,
however lets try it on a light background maybe with a darker font or even a blue font or mixed (if you know what i mean)

hey thought i would post a link to the holding page for Tospec Corp, i created this quickly just to get something up,
please ignore the poor attempt of the logo, i am not a logo designer lol

we are going for a corporate but prestige look and feel

 

New versions on white background. One still the silver color, the other changed to a dark gray/ black. Feedback appreciated.

Thanks for the comment. I'll see if I can come up with some different versions or totally new directions. How long do you expect this contest to run? They are working on the internet connection in my area and I might be out of touch until the end of the weekend. I'll try my best to check-in.
