    hey there,

as some of you may already know .mu is the ccTLD for Mauritius. However, right from the beginning, it's been presented as an extension that could be also be used for music related domain.

Unlike tv or biz, Google.mu would point to Google in Mauritius. Some popular bands and fan sites have already used this extension for their sites. .MU is stylish!

I sincerely believe that if marketed right, any extension can "rank" ;) ...on SEs.

However, it'd be interesting to see opposing points if any...and also to see whether or not you can related .mu to anything musical...

    cheers!

No matter how you look at it, Google and Yahoo and Bing are going to look at .me and .mu and say, “Oh, Montenegro and Mauritius.”.

I dont know what country you come from or if English is your native language but in the US...your joke wouldnt be perceived as funny.

Type muse in Google (.com) and see what happens. I am not talking about reselling environment here. I am talking about pure branding and with good marketing and investment strategies, I do believe some ccTLDs would do great.

Google doesnt SEE that way...nor does it care for W3C validation. Many dont understand that and believe a .com site with excellent coding would be a monster when it comes to SERP. If you have any sold knowledge of SEO and branding, you'd be not saying this.
