Selling PR4 webmaster blog with traffic

Discussion in 'Sites' started by Rivmedia, May 7, 2010.

Selling this webmaster blog because of other projects , ive never really had time to work with this site so its has just been sitting there and every now and then it gets updated from submissions the public submit to the site. All this time the traffic has continued to grow however.

Daily traffic is around 400 unqiues per day roughly , Revenue is no longer tracked so i could tell you whether it has revenue or not .

    Site is PR4 with 1800 backlinks .

It also ranks pretty well in google , currently number 8 for "webmaster forum" and in the low 20's for "gadget blog" , it was also ranking top 20 for Tech blog a couple of months ago but it doesnt seem to be now.

With some good up to date posts this blog could really take off, Its got an incredibly brand able domain name also which is easy to remember , i honestly wish i had the time to work on it .

    Hi,

What Justifies the $2,000 price tag?

How can you just not "track revenue" it's either making revenue and monetized, or it is not. If you have nothing to show to a buyer, it basically has "0". I have bought high quality blogs, PR4 and PR5's with alexa sub 100k, recieving around 1000+ unique visitors per day, making $50 a month when i purchased, and I paid $1200 for one, and only 750 for the other, and it was all unique content, and with twitter accounts.

Your blog is not even worth $500, nothing justifies the price tag. I'll offer you 400 bucks, but if anyone surpasses that i'll be very surprised. The pagerank means nothing btw the way things are today.

$2000 is a BIN price why would i make the BIN a low price , it would totally cut out the point of a bidding system . For someone to come and mouth off to me in public forum i wouldnt even sell it to you for 2k let alone $400 , kindly refrain from commenting on something you clearly cant afford or have no intention of actually buying. Im not desperate for money nor am i desperate to sell the site so i dont see any reason to sell at a weak price, im happy for it to sit on the server until have time for it if it doesnt sell .

I dont think we have anything else to say so we'll leave it at that, i havent got time to keep responding to people wasting my time

    Sorry...

I forgot to say, i'm part of a LARGE company, that develops, and also purchase's developed websites, blogs and applications, aswell as develop our own applications. Our average figure per transaction when we buy inventory is around $9,000 per transaction. So it's not what i can't afford, because I can. I'm not one of these people that will pay over the odds for something.

Regarding the auction system, why not set a more realistic BIN price, then you may get some interest. I'm sure a few people will agree with me on this one. And RE "Wasting your time" stop wasting other peoples time having to contact you regarding the BIN price being unjustified.

Your very unprofessional, I expressed interest and asked questions, and clearly your rattled when I questioned the BIN price. You need to relax.

    I made you an offer,
If it had revenue, it would be worth more. But how can you justify the BIN price. I'll answer it myself, you can't. Good luck with the sales thread.

Im sure you are apart of a large company and wish you all the best with that, for what ever reason you thought you needed to share that im not entirely sure, i for sure don't need to clarify what my income and expenditure is to anyone to prove a point especially in a forum post, so i cant really see what you were trying to achieve there. The point that if you was to criticise something then surely it would have been more professional to actually take up via PM like the other large corporation's ive dealt with in many previous transactions , in fact ive never come across a large company that would even dream of commenting on a post in that manor so i dont think professionalism even comes in this one bit.

The Auction system is in place is purely a guide , if someone offers me a good price via PM who's to say i wouldnt take it, rattled ? Not at all however it does wind me up when people purposely try to ruin a sales thread.

    All the best

Quoting your previous post; "kindly refrain from commenting on something you clearly cant afford or have no intention of actually buying"

I'll say no more, don't assume my financial power.

    Good luck

This blog was one of my friend's "mandar". If you're him then we can talk.

OR did you buy this blog long time back and now re-selling it?

Hi I would like to retract my $400 offer please.

You purchased this for $100 and have done nothing too it, no way does it justify the 2k after that thread below.

And i got a bargain, whats your point ? At that point in time it wasnt ranked for any keywords and the traffic was actually given with AWstats not google analytics, if i look at AW stats the site is actually getting over 1000 unqiues a day but we all know that AWstats isnt accurate. You bid was never accepted so you'd find it hard to retract.

Not only that but what kind of business do you run if you buy sites not expecting to make a profit in the future , as i said good luck with you so called large company, please refrain from commenting anymore

Advertisements are all for sites that we own, so they can be taken down , same for text links they are mostly sites we own so can also be taken down if the links are no longer needed.

If you send me you email via PM i will be happy to send you the Analytic PDF
