I recently sold one of my websites, the transfer went smooth and everyone was happy, the new owner changed the adsense id on the website to his own, he got 600 impressions, then a little later the ads were not showing  He had no email from Google, or what so ever so im curious why has it happened?

They may appear after a gap.. they may investigate the change in adcode for a domain

How long has his ads not been showing? If your site is in the Google index and ads have been showing up regularly, then a change of pub iD really shouldn't have any impact unless the ID has been banned. Can he still log into his account?

Maybe you can ask the new owner to try someone elses ads on the site. Did you give him the site with your PUB ID ads on it? You shouldnt give your ID to anyone. Maybe whats happening now is that he was able to replace only a few ads with his ID and a few of them were left out.

And Google doesnt allows 2 pub ID ads to be displayed on the same site. Maybe thats why no ads are appearing at all.
