i have to promote my websites and i heard that good pr expired domains can do well.. can anyone explain me the pros and cons of expired domains for seo and promoting our other sites?
Pro's are that they can have some great IBLs and reputation within their niche Con's - They could have a terrible reputation and already be banned by google .... buy carefully and do your research. If in doubt, don't buy!
Expired domain can do any good only if they have a decent backlinks profile and a trust status. Pros. - If you have inspected it throughly before buying it, you will get a quality domain that helping use less time to promote it. Cons. - Some domain seller cheat on buyer. If you are unlucky, you would get a banned domain or fake PR without any trust in it.
