Looking at the are you single thread I noticed that many people love being single, including myself, so I wanted to find out why is that. As for me, I've been single for a long time, and I feel ok about it, I live my life to the fullest (sitting on PC for 15 hours a day and doing things that I like), and I'm quite pleased with it. I've realized that I like being single because there's nobody to nag me about the way I live and act. No one to change me or to change my habits, no one to fight with. I feel quite good and comfortable about being single because I can focus entirely on myself and my work. I'm annoyed a bit by people that always have the need to be in relationship, it seams so non understandable to be. Why is so necessary for people to be in relationship, I just don't get it. Somebody said that solitude is independence but happiness is dependence from thousand little things. So what do you think, you like being independent or not? I would like to hear your opinion why do you like being single.
I dont want to loose my freedom...........................I want to enjoy my life in my way thats the reason I love being single
Tastes differ... I prefer to live in a family, but being single for a day or two usually helps my spiritual development.
It's not I want to be single, but anyone want to be with me, even for just a little moment. In real life and on forums, I dunno why, but people don't like me, they always sit away from me, they don't answer my questions... well, I have no friends and I dunno why. Sometimes, I love being alone but not everytime.
I love being single because I can do whatever I want without restrictions...I wont be bothered by phone calls, and text messages and I wont bother to tell anyone where I am ... I also love being single because I can go wherever I want without asking for someone permissions and no one will monitor me of what I am doing there..
eh... all the reasons you listed just sounds like living with your parents... Dunno many people in relationships who are forced to answer phone calls, messages, asking for permission or being monitored..
I'm mainly just trying to appreciate this season of my life as a single person. It does kinda suck seeing all my friends so happy and engaged/married or in LTR's but I figure I'll be married for most of my life so I might as well take this time and do things I wouldn't be able to do in a relationship. Like how I'm about to move across the country just because a friend invited me to. Couldn't really do that while in a serious relationship.
Hey! Two is better than one! Hahha, Akon's album - Freedom is full of depression when your single lol. Single idk what to say about it.
