I don't like it. Why did they have to change their user-friendly interface.. it was perfect! And they don't even have an option to revert to the old one.. PS: If you're not seeing it, good for you.
absolutley horrible new layout. why why why ...i cannot believe it..it looks so modern and stuff..just thinking about it makes me sick
Here it is from another thread: If you're not seeing it, its probably because of your cache. But like I said, good for you. The previous one is much better. The new search layout is much more Yahoo-ish. Sucks.
Thanks. I can see it now. Its not very user friendly. But once people get used to it, I'm sure they'll love it. Its not that horrible after all.
I have this ugly, useless, bing-copying layout now. I tried clearing my cookies but now it's there for good. I just don't understand why they keep changing it. They say they care so much about user experience. From what I can see, most users hate this new look. They probably changed it because the new version gets more clicks for sponsored ads. They care about the money more than the users. I won't be surprised if Bing starts growing a lot in search traffic now. Nice job Google. Don't fix stuff that isn't broken. You're ruining your company.
word. Their previous UI had nothing wrong in it; who needs to refine search by "date & time", it's not like you're searching your computer!
Went through some other threads and seems that this phenomena has been going on since last November. Only hope so this time it's not permanent.
maybe you hate it because it is new and you are not used to it. I'm sure you'll find it attractive in couple of days
I've already made a greasemonkey script i call "Classic Google" lol, While i was removing the lefthand bar, out of spite i removed the righthand sponsored links as well
In the UK i've noticed the changes, there is now a left menu bar where you can choose to screen out certain types of results. I thought it was interesting but not sure where it is more of a gimmick than a useful tool
hmm.. will be interesting to see where google goes w/ this - am sure they have intentions of making the overall search experience easier - maybe they'll be adding some neat features in that bar area to help you refine searches, etc. guess time will tell.
