Hi, All forums are usually NoFollow, but looking at threads liks this: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=135801 I don't see the NoFollow attrib. There's a link there for videograb with this as the source code: Basically, I could keep talking about this script, but why don't you look for yourself? Check out the <a href="http://www.videograb.net" target="_blank">Demo site</a> Anyone who knows where the nofollow comes in?
Lots of forums are not nofollow. Mine's not got any nofollow tags. Lots of others, too. Nofollow is inserted into the a href= tag so if you look at view code source and look at the links you will see if they are or not. DP is not nofollow.
Why ask when you can just hit view source. ...Sad that Google created this monster with the nofollow attribute, which also blocks out a lot of very valid links that SHOULD contribute to raising up a site. Maybe they should've just devalued links a good deal.
when I read the thread I almost fainted... always check the source code of blog or forum if promoting your site. I hope DP doesnt change s this any time soon xD
They'd be shooting themselves in the foot to do it. This is a whole forum based on marketing and promotion and the most driven of us do that promoting every spare second we have. Sig ads are a quick way to both promote and interact at the same time and if this place became nofollow, Warriors forums and others are just around the corner with their still fully enabled links.
It's not wast of time if you submit in quality site that give huge ammount of traffic and yahoo not consider no follow tag...
Agree with you. No Follow is not a waste of time. There are several no follow sites that are indeed a good source for traffic. In other words, nofollow dont give you any SEO benefit but can surely be a good traffic generation source.
