but what should i write i place my link here and i got 318 links most of them from my own domain i want to know actual back links excluded from my domain name
1. Go to Yahoo.com and click inside the search bar. In the search bar you need to type in site:www.yourdomainname.com, replacing the sample domain name with your own. 2. Click on "Inlinks" you'll see two drop down menus. By default they will say "From All Pages" and "Only this URL" respectively. Click on the first dropdown menu and choose "Except from this domain". This will take all of the links from your own site off the list and just leave the links from other websites.
The Yahoo Site Explorer is pretty fast and efficient at picking the new links added over the net and displaying them. You can easily use the normal link: command and then the reports would get displayed on your screen.
As yahoo site explorer is there for it.. the best for it. But there are others sites and tools also for getting it.
To know your backlinks in Yahoo, use Yahoo Site Explorer, type your url in the field of "explore website", you will know your links and inbound links. Others ways to know your backlinks: Backlink Watch, my favorite tool to know if they are dofolow or not also.

Which one should i be looking at to beat backlinks, is it the Yahoo-L:___ number or the yahoo LD:___number. Please help.
Seo Quake is the best tool to check Yahoo, Google, Bing backlinks, Index Pages and so many other information of a website
Y=L tells you how many links are pointing to the page you are currently looking at. Y=LD tells you the number of links to the whole site (domain). So usually L and LD will give different results. As you can see LD will be the same throughout the site irrespective of the page you are looking at. From an SEO point of view, you will need to look L when you need to look into a particular page of the site's SEO. LD will reflect the overall SEO of the site as a whole and how the domain has established links. Hope this makes it clear.
If you've been out there building links to your website for some time now, you may be wondering how many of your links have actually been picked up by the search engines. This is a very legitimate question to have! There are several different things you can do to find out how many backlinks have been picked up by a search engine, but today we're going to focus on how to check how many backlinks Yahoo! says that you have. Before we get started, you need to keep in mind that you may have built more links than Yahoo! shows you. That's the nature of things with search engines. Your links aren't picked up the same time they are created. Also, these will only be the links picked up by Yahoo!, Google and the other search engines probably have a different number as well. So let's get started on how to check your backlinks with Yahoo!. First, go to Yahoo.com and click inside the search bar. In the search bar you need to type in site:www.yourdomainname.com, replacing the sample domain name with your own of course. Then hit enter or click on "Web Search". This will take you to a page in Yahoo! called the Yahoo! Search Site Explorer. If you go down the page just a little bit, you'll see where it says "Results", and right below that it says "Pages (number) | Inlinks (number)". "Pages" tells you how many pages Yahoo! has found in this website, and "Inlinks" tells you how many links are coming to the site. But we need to filter this a little bit. So go ahead and click on the tab that says "Inlinks".
