Many years a go there was living a King. He was very powerful and rich, and he has best friend who had always been conducting the King wherever he was going. This friend was truly devoted to him. And he always said “It is good” for everything which was happening in his life.
Once upon a time evil people decided to damage the King and one night they had hacked the finger on his hand. “Don’t worry, everything is good” – the friend said. “That’s not good at all!” – claimed the King and decided to arrest his devoted friend. He put him into prison.
Once the King decided to travel over the world and had been taken as a captive by one African tribe. They were ready to eat the King but suddenly one of them noticed the absence of one finger on his hand and said that te members of this tribe didn’t eat the people who’s body had been damaged. They set the King free. He came home and visited his friend in prison in order to ask for forgiveness. “Everything is good, don’t worry, dear” – his friend answered – “If you didn’t put me into this prison I used to be with you as a captive in that African tribe and they would immediately eat me because my body is not damaged like yours”.
I highly appreciate this parable and it helps me to preserve optimistic mood in any life situation! I just try to say “IT IS GOOD” whatever happens – and soon I really see a silver lining over a cloud!

Hmmm... It reminds me of the movie Kung fu Panda where Master Oogway always says "There are no accidents".

Its really a mystery how the universe works. :)

yeah, this parable also inspires me. It's true that there's a reason behind every circumstance we are into. There's a reason behind everything. Thanks for sharing!
