    What's your point? You want a t-shirt?

First, this is not one incident. This is one of a series of terror attacks that show Obama is failing to keep America safe.

Second, Barry Obama has shown weakness bowing to Saudi Kings and begging Ahmadinejad not to build nukes.

Third, The Obama administration is more interested proving George Bush wrong than keeping America safe.

The strikes and you are out.

Which is another Obama failure. The terrorist was apprehended after the attack. We need interdiction of the terrorists using our military and intelligence resources. The suspect, Faisal Shahzad, just recently attended terror camp training in Pakistian. The failure is that Obama thinks that this is a law enforcement matter.

It's a lot easier to apprehend a terrorist at JKK International Airport in New York City as opposed to a cave in Pakistain.

I guess this case isn't a matter for blame Obama administration.
Yeah it was so humiliating I think. Wonder how American accepted his behavior toward Saudi king!!

yeah right, Obama started his campaign with blaming Bush in everything!!

I think Bush was honest with American and also the world, he was right guy in his position.if I was an American surely voted for McCain but anyway I am glad Obama is in power now!

Please tell me the no-fly list is computerized and not just some security agent looking at a piece of paper.

Helvetti- it is not so much that the Democrats blame Bush for Katrina (though not all Dems agree that it will have been "God's will" as the Republican's might)... most Democrats are smart enough to realize that acts of nature are not to be blamed on political leaders.

I think it was the Bush government's appaling response to the events and their awful handling of the aftermath that people took issue. As Kanye West so eloquently put it: "George Bush doesn't care about black people"

I am not agreeing with Kanye's claim, just trying to sort out the argument- Dems don't blame Bush for a hurricane, they blame him for the response.

Actually, I have a friend that is a native Iranian and he keeps telling me that the Iranian people (not Govt) want to be close to the United States. He told me that the Iranian people were extremely disappointed and heartbroken when President Obama did not support the Iranian people's protest of the corrupt 2009 Iran elections.

(Certainly, President Obama never would have said "Tear down this wall")

@babak44, I'm interested in your statement "Iranian in common hate Saudi Arabia". Could you explain this more, please? Why do Iranians dislike Saudi Arabia?

Interesting update - the even though he was on the No-Fly list, the attempted bomber was taken off an Emirate Airline plane. The excuse the airline is giving is that they didn't check the "updated" no-fly list.

Was Emirate Airlines even bothering to check the No-Fly list in the first place? The New York Times is reporting unnamed sources that said the airline wasn't bothering to check the list.

Faisal Shahzad bought a ticket paying cash. No one at Emirates stopped him. His name was flagged at the Customs and Border Protection office, who took him off the plane. In a comical twist, Emirate Airlines' tried to cover their asses by reporting Shahzad hours after he had already been arrested.

Look, I don't directly blame President Obama for the attempted NYC bombing, but here's what I want to know: The FAA is under the President's jurisdiction. Emirate Airlines was ready to let this guy leave the USA.

How is President Obama going to handle Emirate Airlines' absence of security?

Barry Obama promised to put Pakistain under the microscope due to the country being a cesspool of terrorism.

Faisal Shahzad had made 13 trips to Pakistain over the last few years. Considering that the area is a war zone and Shahzad had just recently applied to been naturalized to become a citizen, you would have expected that he would have been investigated.

However, Political Correctness trumps common sense in the Obama administration.

Btw, Barry Obama made some trips to Pakistain himself in 1980 under the name of "Barry Soetoro". At the time Barry Soetoro was studying at Occidental College. I wonder what Barry was doing in Pakistain?

in demonstration, Iranian slogan was "Obama ya ba auna ya ba ma" means "Obama must chose want be with us or them (Iranian government)

it has long story maybe more than Islam history.

Iranian haven't good feeling about Arabs and know Saudis as genuine Arabs. Pardon if I was rude.
during 8 years war with Iraq, Saudi Arabia paid most of Sadam's bills and openly let Sadam accessed to their wealth.
for our religious leaders, Saudi is a big rival! head of Shiite and Sunni. 25 years ago Saudi police killed nearly 30 Iranian pilgrimages in Mecca and on that time ayatullah Khomeini said " it is possible we forgive Sadam one day but never forgive Saudi"

The Obama administration played down the fact that Shahzad, a U.S. citizen born in Pakistan, had made it aboard the plane. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano wouldn’t talk about it, other than to say Customs officials prevented the plane from taking off.

Faisal Shahzad in 1998 or very beginning of 1999: "granted a student visa, which requires a criminal background check" and obtained citizenship through marriage to a woman who was born in Colorado — the authorities say she and their two young children are still in Pakistan, where they believe he was trained in making bombs last year in Waziristan, a tribal area that is a haven for militants.

Obama is more concerned about his political agenda than keeping Americans safe from the jihadi terrorists. Muslim extremists terrorism is not in his vocabulary. For instance, Barry Obama charged three Navy seals with slapping a terrorist. This sets the wrong tone. All three Navy Seals were acquitted. So what message did Obama send?

Obama is relying on luck that the bombs don't go off which is FAILURE.

Btw, Mike Bloomberg is an idiot and drinking the PC kool-aid. His initial statement was something to the effect that the bombing was done by tea-baggers against the Obama healthcare plan.
