i forgot admin password how to retrieve

unfortunately i forgot my admin cp password of VB
i check no link to retrieve on admin login page
how ever i went into mySQL DB through hosting CP and see in table user where with ID1 was mine Admin
but when i brows it in password field but that is not password
is there anyother file where admin login info stored
or can i retrieve with that key stored in password field and how

 

Use the lost password feature - the site will prompt you to reset your password when you have a failed login.

This is also why you have 2 admin accounts - the default, and a backup account.

i do that but it harm my DB

 

How did it "harm" your database?

 

Data Base error forum was not loading
and i just re upload the backup to fix

 

just open ur sql db and goto id1 -> the admin
in the password field there are some codes kinda stuff..they are nothing but md5 code...
the passwords are crypted with md5 so tht no 1 can figure out the pass..
just convert/crack the md5 code! and ull get the password

What was the exact error, its better giving us the error instead of saying you "got an error"
