If you want to increase the Alexa Ranking of your blog or website then just installed the Alexa Toolbar You can download from here http://www.alexa.com/toolbar After adding the toolbar, Visit your website 1 time a day and look at the status bar and note down your Alexa ranking. Another day do the same process. If possible then do the same process from the Internet cafe or your friends PC etc. After this you can see the huge change in Alexa Ranking of your website within 4-5 days. I have just started my new blog http://photostudiosupplies.blogspot.com and I got my Alexa ranking for this blog is around 23,25,929 within very few days because I have installed the Alexa Toolbar in my PC and I am visiting my blog daily. Alexa Ranking depends upon hits if your site get traffic from different node then your alexa ranking will improve.
While Alexa is very reliable in gauging the traffic for the most populated websites, its accuracy decreases in measuring those which are lesser-populated, because its sampling body is not large enough and tends to consist entirely of marketing/SEO types.
