say you saw a t-shirt that you would like.hard to find item.
regular t-shirt with a patch on it.
    it's collectible,but zero collectible value.
would you pay 35 bucks for it?

No. Not for "collectibility" reasons. I collect much worse stuff that tshirts :p
I'm happy to pay $35 for a tshirt, simply to support the people that are selling it - community radio stations, charities, loser bands, etc.

    wha? :p

$35 is not really much , but spending it on a t-shirt is pointless. I mean, how rare or antique could a t-shirt get?

It´s expensive so it would depend on the quality/brand and similar stuff like that

The market determines the price of the product. In the market is the people, and the people have the money - That means that the price is how ever much you can sell it for! There are some companies which sell T shirts for $400 each... Jeans for 1200..
