This has been public knowledge for quite some time. Perhaps your posting simply to increase post count???

Ok my apologise. You must realise how many spammers I see on a daily basis. But yes, the none-use of keyword tags (by Google) has been officially known since september 2009 and was widely suspected a lot earlier than that.
I've heard that while it's not relevant for Google anymore the other search engines still use the tag, especially Yahoo. And Google is not the only one regardless of how big they are
Your forgetting that Google isn't the only search engine, there are plenty of other search engines which still use the meta tags, they should still be used no matter what - Just because Google doesn't like something, or doesn't factor something in anymore, it doesn't mean that other search engines are going to stop as well, if every search engine was like Google, there wouldn't be any point in having other search engines.
Exactly, Yahoo still relies heavily on metatags. I made thousands from Yahoo on this premise. Google controls most of search valuable targets. I currently employ a campaign consisting of SEO targeted pages and PPC campaigns based on the converting kws of my SEO tactics.
Thanks for the link and the info was something new for me. SEO is something that I am new to and trying to learn as much as possible.
