I just want to register a cheap web hosting. My need are:
    250-500mb space
    100 gb Bandwidth
I have a budget of less than $2 a month.

Are the two given sites legitimate for buying hosting?
    www.hostso.com
    www.speedhost.in

    Why you need 100GB bandwidth?

I think in the advertising forum section you will be able to find a lot of related offers.
    Good luck

to hit that 100,000MB (100GB) bandwith you'd need 200 downloading your ENTIRE 500MB site, all the images, text, scripts etc.. that seems like a lot..
check out bounceweb but they are about $7 a month.. Unlimited everything (Within reason, don't use it as a HD or a warez site).. Storage, Bandwith, domains, email, subdomain, scripts.

    Example on bandwith:
I have 1 domain with 2 subdomains. 1 side of the Subdomain is a ton of lead capture pages and auto respoinder sending messages daily to subscribers.. I am seeing about 30+ hits a day using 20Megs of bandwith for this month. On the other side a blog site with 100+ hits 37MB for the month. so you can safely look at about 25 GB for bandwith and be pretty well off.

Yeah, you are asking for a lot. If you want we can try to work something out. PM me the following details

How many databases do you need (more = costs more) and the quota on them
how many subdomains, domains, emails, cron jobs.

I don't think I will be able to go under $2 but I may be able to go arround $3 if your other requirements low.

$2 for 100GB is really hard to find, but I guess there are some services that can offer such a bargain price. Next question how reliable.

Your site requirements remind me of one of the clients we recently terminated. The account was using only 500 MB space and used up around 80 GB of bandwidth within just 1 day. The reason for termination was hosting of rapidleech script to download tv shows on the server.

I think in this case he will host only html site. However that is worth to ask him to tell him more about the projects he is going to host.

I believe a lot of web hosting companies will be more then happy to provide this kind of services for you. Do the search in the marketing section and I'm sure you will be able to find lots of them.

If you are looking for feedback about these web hosting companies try to google for "hostso problem", "hostso scam" and similar phrases. You will see if the hosting provider has some problems with the clients or not.

At least you got an infraction. I got banned for doing this 25 minutes PRIOR to the new rule being placed in effect, way back when.

Frankly they should go back to banning. It would likely stop a lot of the repeat offenders that just keep doing it anyway.
