Except that chitika and YPN are nowhere near the same thing Chitika only works for search engine traffic. YPN works for all traffic
Actually, Chitika changed that at the end of March.. Their premium units now show ads for ALL (or, most) traffic, not just SE traffic..
Yet they're still showing: when code is selected, and I still can't see the ads on my site, which tells me that it's worthless.
i think they are still in the process of rolling the changes out, so it's still showing to only SE traffic on a lot of sites..
A baby which remained a baby... and never grew up! It, remaining in the BETA stage for so long... was an early give-away that it would never see the daylight... as far as the publishers of the rest of the world goes! Regards, RightMan
We actually made good money with YPN. They will be missed as an alternative to adsense. I wish there were other networks that could replace it.
I really did see this coming to, Yahoo IMO came to late in the game for advertising program. Google is and always will be 2 steps a head of Yahoo.
Yeah, that's why the notice was sent out on 3/31 (early AM), and it's still visible in the publisher's center. No, it's no prank
Has anyone here tried Chitka or Adbrite in the past few weeks and can tell us about their experience so far?
Can't believe this is happening...I think it's a bad decision right now for them to give up on this type of advertising. Might be part of why their stock has been on a downward spin as well..?
