I was scammed by this person on DP. This person said he could do the job for $90. I paid the $90 and was given the run around. Tried to sell me other services that were already included in the agreement. He accessed my forum website and cleared admin logs. The next day still no work on my website. I run a search in google for his user name and found posts made about him scamming others. I decide not to bring it up and consider it a misunderstanding or a different person. And just a few hours ago he tells me his account was limited. The following is the case number he provided.
He told me he was on the phone with paypal to get the limitation removed. 2.5 hours later he's still on the phone with paypal and told me to relax.
5 hours later he said he wanted me to pay him via Alertpay another $90. I told him I would have to wait until i get my refund from paypal. He says, "But my account limited, please send to my alertpay.
Thats when I blocked him. I would just like a refund of my $90 as no services have been rendered. He made conversation with me via MSN: xoomservice2010

He had offered me some sort of money exchange, but as he didn't have any iTrader feedback, I deleted the message.

there are lot of scammers around us. you need to exercise good judgment while hiring someone. before buying any service or anything online, ALWAYS check to see if the person or company can be trusted or is reputable. you will be fine if you hire someone with good reputation and lots of itrader. in other words, buy form trusted source. sometimes you may need to pay a little extra to buy from reputable source but you are comfortable knowing that you will get the promised service. lot of people buy form complete strangers or noobs in an attempt to same a little but end up losing all.

Sorry that you have been scammed. iTrader and other things like Join date helps you to evaluate a person, you must not pay upfront if the dealer has low or no iTrader unless you know about him.
And nowadays more scammers attacking DP, many users have multiple DP ids or creating new one once they got banned and also iTraders are given without any service done.
MODS & Shawn must think of a new way to rid spammers.
