Finally got approved but what next? today got 111 impressions but 0 clicks?=0 earning

Hello guys! Well finally got approved by google! So I placed my ads on my site. Today I just checked my account showing 111 impressions but zero clicks so no earnings!

How I can improve this stats? Please check my site which is in my signature and tell me if I have placed them on right position or need to change their positions?

Try moving around your ad placements on your website. After a while, you'll finally notice which place is the best for a certain ad block. It's common to not get a lot of clicks, so good luck.

 

You are very new to Adsense. Try experimenting with fonts, colors, shapes and sizes of the ad units..

Impressions doesn't means you are going to get clicks. Also high ctr is not rocket science. Just keep on providing good content. The more visitors means more clicks. There is no need to start panicking because you didn't start making money. Making money online isn't that easy but it also isn't that difficult. There are people here on this forum who had 4 years old adsense account and still no earning.

 

if you have a lot of impressions but no clicks, then either your traffic is not converting or your visitors can't see your ads. play around with different ad positing and try to show your ad above the fold. blend in your ad with site layout to make it look like part of your site. if you have legit traffic, it has to convert

Seen your blog, nice design but If u want to earn from adsense try to change your ads placement every 2 days and check where they work well. Your site is good but try to attract more visitors by link building, social bookmarking site, forum signatures, article submission.

Make an experiment. Try to another ad layout. "Above the fold" is the best.

Well sir thanks for advice but already all of them are above the fold. You don't even have to scroll down to see the ads!

 

Try using different ad formats as well to see which one preforms best. Sometimes video ad units work pretty well on one site, but then terrible on the next. Just experiment with the placement and format until you see some results.

 

well guys now I am getting good number of visitors daily! About 100 unique visits! I know it's not that much good but monthly 3000 relative to 1000 is some what good! But still only 2 click and managed to make only near about 50 cents!

My banners are above fold, different sized, different type but still result is same!

It also depends on your luck...make your tests in several days, not only one
Sometimes I had 40 impressions and 4 clicks, and today I got 200 impressions and no click..without changing anything

 

You have a nice blog. Here are few thing that I have to suggest.
1. You have place most of your adsense on the top. Why are you putting all three ads unit in one place. Just change the place and see what happens.
2. Try 336x280 ad unit in the beginning of each post. This ad unit and place is the best working one for me.
3. Play around with the ads placement and I am sure you will find a place that gives best return.
4. Try to blend text color and link color of ads with your theme color.

Nice layout. Like the site. But its early days yet. You can't even experiment properly with 100 impressions. You need to build your traffic levels up. The positioning of your ads isn't bad, can't say if its going to work for you though. You need to try different ad placements to be sure.

But you can't be experimenting too much if you haven't got enough visitors to your site.

Write some material for article directories, make the most of some social bookmarking sites, join a few more forums get more people passing through your site and then start experimenting.

adsence pays that much for just impressions without clicks????

Correct me if I am wrong, impressions means the number below "page impression" column?

 

You need to update your site and promote to earn more income from ads.
