reputation : what does it mean

I recieved a reputaion, what does it mean?

 

If means you have 9 reputation points, and dont need to talk more about it

 

is it something you should be proud of ?

 

If you post about your reputation it will quickly reduce below your 9 points.

hmm, intresting can any one tell me about colour coding for reputations

I have seen three colors

1) black/gray
2) green
3) red

 

1) black/gray <- This indicates that the rep you recieved has no effect. Either given by a user with less than 50 posts or 10 rep points, Or it was given in a forum where Rep post doesnt count like General Chat.

2) green <- This indicates that the rep you recieved was a possitive, means someone was agree with your post.

3) red <- This indicates that the rep you recieved was negetive, means someone was disagree with your post.

 

What if I give wrong reputation to a person, is there any penalty I have to pay?

How this is judged wether the reputation given is right or wrong?

is it automatically or I have to raise my voice for it?

 

No you cannot challenge the reputation given to you.

And you wont know who gave it to you until that person signs the rep.
