I personally like Statcounter because of its ease of use, but when during interviews I say statcounter is good people start laughing at me saying it is not accurate is statcounter not accurate is analytics better

    my vote to statcounter

They both has their own strength and weakness. However, my vote is for Statcounter. They do provide comprehensive details and real time tracking while GA does not.

However, if you are using Adword driving traffics and want to track on it, then GA would be a better choice in this case.

I've used GA for a long time, and I satisfy with it. I think it depends on what you need from stats analyzer. It's hard to say what's the best. It's maybe the best for someone, but for others not.

    Hi,

Each web tracker tools have their own unique features. Statcounter and analytics have their own feature and weakness. For my personal point of view i will vote statcounter.

I used both of em but my vote goes to Statcounter because I'd like to check what keywords are being search for and that way, I can improve it's SERP on that keywords searches.

Both will be good to trace traffic report, but Analytics is little more better than statcounter.

Both are good but personally I like Google Analytics because it is a very easy to use and mostly I am doing website promotion for Google so I prefer Google Analytics.

Are you guys using the free or paid version of Statcounter? I really do think there are some problems with it. The Search Engine stats for example, it seems to literally run backward for me. I check my stats, it might give 30 for google, check again a few minutes later and its 28 or 29. Either I'm misunderstanding something or its screwy.

They are both good. I usually put both of them in my index site page. There's no harm when you do it. :D

statcounter is not advanced as analytic because it provides data geo graphically, uinque traffic(visitors),user agent & much more.
