Are .TV .Jobs .US Worth it?

What is the thinking on the .tv .jobs and .us extensions?

What kind of value do they have? If all the dot coms are gone, do these have value?
Is .jobs worth a hundred some bucks?

They have value if you build a site on them but not as much as a speculative 'investment'.
You have to be a corporation or a human resource department/company get a .jobs - not everyone qualifies.

.TV is good if the name of website as something to do with video, animation, games, sport ...ect
.US is good as a .com alternative. Because if you go to google.us it brings you to google.com and .us will rank you high on the original google pages.

.Jobs to me is a useless extension like .Info .Mobi .Travel .Name .Tel .Travel .Aero ... and all that weird crap.

.tv = yes, but only if it's a decent domain and not a 3-word one. It's becoming more commonly seen with TV networks and shows using it for a professional site.
.jobs = never seen a .jobs site live on the internet, so I don't have an opinion on it.
.us = Not a fan of this ccTLD. I've run a few .us sites and they have hit massive glass ceilings in regard to short-tail keywords, as compared to .com/.net sites I own which have gotten great rankings over the same time span. I don't even see them getting preference in US-based searches.

Thanks for the feedback. I like the .TV only because it seems like it may have a real use. I have one .us - iabc.us I doubt I'd get another.

.us is always good and .tv has gained tremendous popularity recently with domainers all over but .jobs is useless imo!

Im a visionary person, I never put all my eggs in one basket. Im not diluted by the “it must be .com argument”.

.US = In the future websites that will show up in search engines will be dominated by local domain names. So its best to invest now while its early or suffer the lost of traffic to your competitors. Especially if your from the united-states of america.

.TV = If you watch closely most commercials and TV ads nowadays showcase company domain names with the .TV extension. You might still see an occasional .com but it’s getting rarer and rarer.

.JOBS = I see no future on that extension.

I would personally only invest in .tv, but then again, I would be reluctant to even do that because the renewal fees tend to be much higher than those for .coms. I have only had one .tv domain in the past which no one was interested in, so I let it drop.

    Depends on the keyword!
About .us should be one word r at last LLL to have a good value (usually)
About .tv if it is a keyword related to TV than it is k, also Geo domain.tv are good
    .jobs is worthless

That's because there's more .COM than .US websites.

My boss have lots of .TVs and wants me to build sites on them. Based on what i read, it seems that it will be really hard for me to come up with something on such domains. Any suggestions on what i should be putting on such domain types?
