Suggestion Auto mergin posts

Hi,

after reading infraction complaining threads I came up with an idea that may lessen infractions. When it comes to double post (either accidentally or on purpose), the system could auto merge the last post with the one above if it is the same poster.

What do you think?

There is a VB mod that looks at thread titles and kinda warns the member of a similar threads etc... but I cant see it working on the many sections here on DP.

 

Easier, don't let people make back to back post unless 8 hours have passed.

 

Back to back post even after 8 hours past is Bumping

I wouldn’t know about that because I never made ‘thank you’ or ‘good info’ posts

In my experiences, I got infractions for supplementary information, for posting
after additional information became available etc.
